According to a study conducted by the University of Ohio, the fact of constantly discussing with your partner and living a climate of stress, would cause a depression that generates an alteration in the metabolism of fats that the body consumes.

In the study, both men and women who had discussions with their partners burned fewer calories, increased their insulin level and raised their triglycerides after a heavy meal.
